Enam Mahasiswa UBL Berangkat ke Jepang

After that, Ratih Puspa Irnatira (semester 7) and Dian Perdana
(semester 9), first departed for an international program of research and
redesign of the central district of Kurozaki City, integrated for 6 months.

Four other students, Adni Juliansyah, Valian Putra
Sayoga, Rosmini Sofia, and Sunan Alqo all 7 semesters), were officially released by
UBL Chancellor Dr. Ir. M. Yusuf. S. Barusman, MBA, in Building D (Rectorate), Campus A,
Drs.H. RM. Barusman UBL, Tuesday 07 February 2017. In order to join the International Workshop and Conference program for
two weeks, from 13 February-8 March 2017.

The activity also included the Dean, Dr. eng. Fritz
Akhmad Nuzir, ST, MA and FT Lecturer Ardansyah, ST, MT. The Dean of FT hopes that with
the release of the rector, there will not only be a form of giving attention. However, it can
motivate students to do more through various existing programs
. Including for further development.

“We (UBL) hope that this study exchange concept, in the future,
can be followed not only in the architecture study program. It is hoped that they can get
additional quotas and include other study programs and faculties. Currently, it still
needs to be discussed again, by joining the cooperation in stages,” he admitted.

Fritz said that four UBL Architecture students were involved in the
Join Workshop and Conference, whose program was adjusted and accompanied by various
lecturers. Like Prof. Bart Dewancker , Prof. Kensuke Fukuda , Prof. Wei Jun
Gu . As well as UBL lecturers, such as himself, Harris Muwardi, ST,
MT and Ilham Malik ST, MT

Fritz feels confident, these UBL ambassadors are able to contribute
more. Because it has been equipped with trainings to participate
in green education workshops, at the national level, in Bandung, West Java. Fritz hopes
that each activity is followed optimally. Including taking advantage of knowledge, learning techniques
, application of work, community conditions to life experiences
abroad.

 “One of them
(Valian), even won first place, after successfully designing a village town plan,
based on go green. This achievement has been shared with
other students. That’s why, being involved in this workshop, will be a capital to navigate various
activities in Japan later, “he said.  

Sedangkan, Rektor UBL mengaku keikutsertaan enam mahasiswa
dan dua dosen Arsitektur UBL dalam SSE AILCD di Universitas Kitakyushu, Jepang,
selalu diikuti dengan performa dan prestasi baik. Bahkan, selalu meraih
predikat juara dalam berbagai kategori lomba.

“Terlebih, tidak banyak kampus dari Indonesia yang terlibat.
Selain UBL, ada ITB dan UPI, keduanya dari Bandung. Kita (UBL) sangat bangga,
karena pengiriman terus berlanjut. Tentu, ditahun berikut, tidak hanya jumlah
lebih banyak, tapi beragam prodi dan fakultas UBL ikut terlibat,” harapnya.

Tak lupa, Yusuf Barusman berpesan kepada para wakil UBL ini.
Agar tidak hanya menimba ilmu dan pengalaman berharga. Tapi juga,mampu menyerap
substansi, dan coor kompetensi dipelajari. Termasuk, dari attitude,
kepribadian, kebiasaan dan perilaku positif dari masyarakat Jepang.

“Perlu ada transfer aktifitas dari segi etos kerja, belajar,
pelestarian lingkungan, pengaturan tata kota, pola bangunan, gaya hidup bersih,
teratur, rapi, disiplin, dan banyak hal yang bisa dipelajari. Jadi setibanya,
dapat diterapkan. Tentu, hal ini akan memajukan sistem pendidikan tinggi
Lampung dan UBL khususnya,”tukasnya. (*)
