BeritaBerlian.com, Sekampung – “Yang jelas ini momen kita (pada hari santri ini), untuk memperingati resolusi jihad di mana para kiyai, para ulama, para pemimpin pesantren saat itu memerintahkan pada seluruh santri itu untuk memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia”, ungkap Bupati Lampung Timur, Chusnunia dalam acara Festival Sepuluh Ribu Rebana yang juga bertepatan dengan Peringatan Hari Santri di Lapangan Merdeka Kecamatan Sekampung, Minggu (22/10/2017).
Hadir dalam acara Wakil Bupati Lampung Timur, Zaiful Bukhori, Sekertaris Kabupaten Lampung Timur, Syahrudin Putera, beserta Jajaran Pemerintahan Kabupaten Lampung Timur, para kiyai se-Kabupaten Lampung Timur, para santri serta masyarakat Kecamatan Sekampung yang turut hadir memeriahkan acara.
Dalam acara yang dihadiri juga oleh Habib Umar Bin Mudlor Al Hadad pengasuh Majelis An Nur Lampung, Chusnunia mengatakan, “membangun secara fisik maupun non fisik Indonesia adalah mengisi dengan kebaikan itu yang utama, dan kita harapkan para santri dapat membanggakan para kiyainya maupun santri itu sendiri”, jelasnya.
“Saat ini yang paling menjadi musuh utama adalah soal optimisme, di mana anak muda terjangkit penyakit pesimisme yang itu harus kita lawan, anak muda harus optimis dalam membangun bangsa. Yakin saja, tidak ada hidup yang tidak punya persoalan, tapi bukan berarti langkah harus berhenti,” pesan orang nomor satu di Bumei Tuwah Bepadan itu.
Acara yang di buka dengan ditandai pemukulan rebana oleh Bupati Lampung Timur ini, diikuti oleh ribuan santri. Pada acara tersebut juga diadakan kegiatan pelayanan donor darah, pelayanan langsung dokumen kependudukan dan catatan sipil serta pentas kelompok kosidah Kecamatan Sekampung. (*)
