Diawali dengan prosesi Tari Sigegh Penguten, Menteri Pariwisata
(Menpar) Arief Yahya bersama Gubernur Lampung M. Ridho Ficardo resmi
me-lauching Lampung Krakatau Festival 2017 di Balairung Soesilo
Soedarman, Gedung Sapta Pesona Jakarta, Senin (7/8). Mengusung tema “The
Glory of Lampung Crown” akan berlangsung di Kota Bandar Lampung dan
Kabupaten Lampung Selatan pada 25-27 Agustus 2017.
Menteri
Pariwisata Arief Yahya mengapresiasi peluncuran Lampung Krakatau
Festival 2017. Festival ini sangat tepat untuk memperkuat posisi
Lampung sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan di ujung Pulau Jawa dan
Sumatera. Nama Krakatau sendiri sudah dikenal ke seluruh dunia dengan
peristiwa meletusnya gunung berapai terdasyat di dunia.
“Event
ini bagus, layak untuk dijual. Total ada lima event didalamnya.
Calender of event di Lampung berjumlah 31, masih kurang. Minimal harus
52 biar setiap Minggu ada event di Lampung. Contohnya di Banyuwangi yang
mencapai 72 event per tahun, yang hanya sebuah kabupaten. Di Solo 56
event, event itu akan mendatangkan devisa baik yang dalam negeri maupun
luar negeri,” ujar Arief Yahya saat melaunching Lampung Krakatau
Festival 2017 di Balairung Soesilo Sudarman, Senin (7/8).
Lebih
lanjut, Arief Yahya mengacungi dua jempol terhadap komitmen pemerintah
lampung yang menjadikan pariwisata sebagai 3 portfolio industri utama
disana, selain pertanian dan manufakturing.
“Terlihat
jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Lampung meningkat 30 persen dari
pertumbuhan pariwisata nasional dari tahun 2016. Wismannya naik dari 115
ribu jadi 150 ribu, pergerakan wisnusnya menjadi 7,5 juta,” ucap Arief
Yahya.
Pada kesempatan
yang sama, Gubernur Lampung M. Ridho Ficardo mengatakan, Provinsi
Lampung harus dapat menangkap peluang dengan berbenah sebagai destinasi
wisata yang siap bersaing karena semakin terbukanya akses wisatawan ke
Provinsi Lampung.
“Event
LKF 2017 harus mampu menjadi atraksi wisata yang menarik, sekaligus
menjadi sarana promosi bagi destinasi wisata dengan atraksi dan
fasilitas penunjangnya serta tetap mengangkat dan melestarikan seni
budaya asli daerah guna menangkap peluang kunjungan wisatawan. Kami
mentargetkan penyelenggaraan Lampung Krakatau Festival tahun ini akan
mendatangkan 30.000 kunjungan wisatawan,” katanya.
Pariwisata
Lampung memiliki daya tarik wisata budaya (culture), alam (nature), dan
buatan manusia (manmade). Melalui penyelenggaraan festival tersebut,
Lampung ingin mengenalkan destinasi wisata unggulannya antara lain;
Pulau Pahawang, Teluk Kiluan, Air Terjun Putri Malu, serta Taman
Nasional Way Kambas ke wisatawan.
Selain
itu di Festival ini, lanjut Ridho Ficardo, wisatawan bisa ikut tour ke
Gunung Anak Krakatau, melihat keindahan pesta pantai yang digelar di
beberapa pantai cantik di Lampung. Seperti Pulau Tangkil dan Pantai
Mutun di Kabupaten Pesawaran. Lampung juga memiliki 64 air terjun dan 7
kawasan Taman Nasional Way Kambas, Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan,
Teluk Kiluan, Tanjung Setia dan Pahawang.
Kegiatan
LKF 2017 akan dimeriahkan dengan 3 kegiatan utama yaitu; Pertama,
Pesona Kemilau Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai (25 – 27 Agustus 2017) berupa
rangkaian kegiatan Opening Ceremony LKF 2017, Expo Kepariwisataan,
Kuliner Lampung, Penampilan Seni Budaya, Pameran Foto Lampung Tempo Dulu
dan Kini serta aneka permainan anak tradisional nusantara. Kedua, Tour
Krakatau (25 – 26 Agustus 2017) yang merupakan perjalanan wisata
bersejarah untuk mengenang meletusnya Gunung Krakatau pada tahun 26
Agustus 1883.
Tour
dimulai dari Kalianda kemudian singgah di Pulau Sebesi (pulau
berpenduduk terdekat dengan Krakatau) selanjutnya ke kepulauan Gunung
Krakatau. Ketiga, Lampung Culture and Tapis Carnival (26 Agustus 2017)
yang menampilkan keragaman budaya daerah dalam bentuk parade budaya
Lampung dan nusantara, melalui event ini ditampilkan kemegahan dan
kekayaan adat budaya Lampung.(Inspiratif.co.id)
