MESUJI– Di hadapan Forum Komunikasi Pejabat Daerah
(Forkopimda) Kabupaten Mesuji, sebanyak 49 Calon Kepala Desa dari 16 desa di 5
kecamatan di wilayah kabupaten setempat, menggelar deklarasi damai pelaksanaan pesta
demokrasi (Pilkades) serentak yang akan berlangsung pada tanggal 27
agustus 2017 mendatang.
Acara deklarasi damai tersebut dilakukan
dilokasi Taman Keanekaragaman Hayati (Kehati) di Desa Mekar Jaya,
Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Selasa 08 Agustus 2017.
Pada kegiatan deklarasi damai itu semua calon Kades
membacakan Fakta Integritas dan penandatanganan pernyataan siap mematuhi
ketentuan Perundang-undangan yang berlaku serta siap menjaga suasana
aman dan kondusifitas pada saat pelaksanaan Pilkades di desanya masing –
masing.
Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa (DPMD)
Kabupaten Mesuji Budiman Jaya menyatakan, bahwa deklarasi damai ini
bertujuan untuk menciptakan stabilitas, kamtibmas yang kondusif, di 16
desa yang tersebar di 5 kecamatan di Mesuji, khususnya pada saat
pelaksanaan Pilkades serentak 2017 nanti.
Kesuksesan pilkades serentak tergantung antusiasme
masyarakat dalam memilih hak suara demi menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai
demokrasi di desa yang berazazkan langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur,
dan adil.
“Akan tetapi, diharapkan dengan terpilihnya seseorang
menjadi pemimpin di desa, harus berkompeten dan memiliki rasa
tanggungjawab guna mewujudkan peningkatan pembangunan dan kesejahteraan
masyakarat,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu deklarasi damai tersebut berisi poin – poin
Kesepakatan yakni para calon untuk dapat saling menghormati sesama calon
kepala desa dalam melaksanakan pilkades sesuai peraturan perundang
undangan yang berlaku, tunduk dan taat terhadap peraturan yang berkaitan
dengan pelaksanan pilkades, serta menjaga ketertiban dan kondusifitas
keamanan di desa masing masing.
Sementara Bupati Mesuji Khamami mengatakan, Pilkdes
serentak 2017 ini diharapkan semua kandidat calon kepala desa dapat
menjaga kerukunan antar sesama warganya, sehingga pilkades ini bisa
berjalan dengan lancar, aman, dan kondusif. Sebab, menang atau kalah itu
tetap harus dihadapi dengan lapang dada tanpa melakukan hal yang
anarkis.
“Saya berharap agar semua kandidat calon kepala desa
sama-sama menjaga pendukungnya agar pilkades ini berjalan dengan lancar,
aman, dan damai tanpa adanya keributan apa pun dan saya berharap agar
semua lapisan masyarakat dapat ikut berpartisipasi penuh agar pesta
demokrasi ini berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada keributan,” ujarnya.
Selain itu adanya deklarasi damai ini diharapkan menjadi
momentum para calon untuk sama- sama menjadi pemersatu antar sesama
calon, karena para calon sudah sepakat mengikrarkan untuk menjaga
persatuan dan kesatuan untuk tidak saling mengganggu apalagi mencela dan
menjatukan satu sama lain.
“Bersaing secara sehat dan tidak perlu menjatuhkan lawan.
Menang atau kalah dalam suatu kompetisi itu hal yang biasa terjadi dan
apapun hasilnya harus diterima dengan ikhlas dan lapang dada, jangan
sampai ada kegaduhan yang terjadi, karena ikrar janji diucapkan dan
