mempertandingkan dan memperlombakan 22 cabang olah raga. Porprov
Lampung VIII dijadwalkan berlangsung November-Desember 2017.
Adapun
cabang olah raga yang dipertandikan yaitu atletik, bola basket, bola
voli, bridge, bulu tangkis, catur, gulat, judo, karate, kempo, panahan,
panjat tebing, pencak silat, renang, dan sepak bola. Kemudian, futsal,
sepak takraw, softball, taekwondo, tenis meja, tinju, dan wushu.
Sebagai
langkah awal Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung bersama KONI Provinsi Lampung
dan KONI kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Lampung menggelar rapat koordinasi
persiapan Porprov Lampung VIII 2017 di Ruang Sungkai, Balai Keratun,
Rabu 30 Agustus 2017.
Pada
rapat lerdana ini Asisten Bidang Umum Hamartoni Ahadis mengatakan
pelaksanaan Porprov 2017 diambil alih Provinsi Lampung melalui KONI
Provinsi Lampung setelah Kabupaten Lampung Utara mengundurkan diri.
“Rapat
ini kita baru menghadirkan pengurus dan panitia Pelaksanaan Porprov.
Untuk sementara, 14 kabupaten/kota yang mendaftar.” Kata Hamartoni.
Lebih
lanjut Hamartoni menyampaikan pada penyelengaran Porprov ini,
Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung menargetkan kesuksesan baik acara,
penyelenggara, prestasi dan administrasi.
Pemerintah provinsi secara teknis akan menyampaikan regulasi seperti apa yang akan berlaku pada Porprov 2017 ini.
Di
sisi lain, Sekretaris KONI Lampung, Margono Tarmudji, menyampaikan
berdasarkan SK Gubernur Lampung Nomor : G/416/V.17/HK/2017 tentang
Pembentukan Panitia Besar dan Penunjukan KONI Provinsi Lampung sebagai
penyelenggara Pekan Olahraga Provinsi Lampung ke-VIII Tahun 2017.
“Berdasarkan
SK Gubernur Lampung, Hingga saat ini Pendaftaran pun dibuka.
Pendaftaran tahap pertama dan kedua sudah dilakukan. Pendaftaran pertama
adalah keikutsertaan, kesiapan KONI kabupaten/kota ikut Porprov.
kemudian tahap kedua adalah pendaftaran cabang yang diikuti dari
masing-masing kabupaten/kota,” kata Margono.
Margono
juga menjelaskan setiap kabupaten dan kota bisa mendaftar 10-15 cabang
olahraga. Pada Poeprov kali ini atlet yang akan bertanding sebagai
