BeritaBerlian.com, Lampung Tengah – Bersama-sama menjaga keamanan di wilayah hukum Kabupaten Lampung Tengah menjadi komitmen yang dibangun pemerintah kabupaten dan aparat kepolisian Lampung Tengah. Komitmen ini diwujudkan dalam program ronda dan patroli bersama yang dilakukan warga dan kepolisian.
Seperti ronda yang berlangsung di Kecamatan Seputih Agung, Sabtu, 30/9/2017 dini hari. Bupati Lampung Tengah DR. Ir. Mustafa dan warga mendapat pendampingan langsung dari pihak kepolisian yang di pimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Lampung Tengah AKBP Purwanto Puji Sutan.S.Ik.MH.
Ronda diawali di kampung Endang Rejo Kecamatan Seputih Agung. Dengan mengendarai sepeda motor, bupati dan kapolres berkeliling dari pos ronda satu ke pos ronda lainnya memantau keamanan dan aktivitas ronda warga.
Bupati Mustafa menyatakan Pemkab Lampung Tengah terus bersinergi dengan kepolisian dalam rangka meningkatkan keamanan. Langkah ini dilakukan menyusul Lampung Tengah menjadi kabupaten terluas di Lampung, dimana rasio antara jumlah penduduk dan personel kepolisian tidak memadai.
“Karenanya kekuatan rakyat harus digerakkan. Lewat ronda, warga tidak hanya berpangku tangan tetapi juga diajak untuk ikut bertanggung jawab menjaga wilayahnya. Alhamdulillah ronda disambut baik, dengan kesadaran masing-masing mereka aktif melaksanakan ronda,” ungkap Mustafa.
Sinergitas dengan kepolisian, ditegaskan bupati muda ini, akan dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan. Tak hanya lewat ronda, saat ini Pemkab Lampung Tengah juga tengah memfasilitasi pembangunan Mako Mako Brimob Lampung Tengah yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Anak Tuha.
“Ini menjadi bukti bahwa sinergitas kami (pemerintah dan kepolisian) telah terjalin dengan baik. Saya harap hal ini bisa dipertahankan, kita bahu membahu menjaga keamanan bersama. Jika kita punya kesadaran dan semangat yang sama, saya percaya Lampung Tengah bisa benar-benar aman,” pungkas Mustafa.
Sementara itu Kapolres AKBP Puji Sutan mengatakan pihaknya telah mengerahkan para personelnya untuk rutin melakukan patroli keamanan di tiap-tiap kampung. Dengan adanya ronda warga, menurutnya hal tersebut sangat membantu tugas kepolisian.
“Karenanya saya meminta warga agar tetap aktif ronda. Sudah ada teladan dari bupatinya, tentu ini harus kita laksanakan semaksimal mungkin. Kerjasama kepolisian dan warga, mudah-mudahan bisa mewujudkan daerah yang aman dan nyaman,” tandasnya. (*)
