BeritaBerlian.com, PRINGSEWU – Wakil Bupati Pringsewu DR. Hi. Fauzi, SE, M.Kom, Akt. mengingatkan para pembuat makanan tradisional tahu di daerahnya agar tidak coba-coba menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia berbahaya maupun bahan-bahan pengawet yang tidak direkomendasikan untuk produk makanan dalam proses pembuatan tahu.
Wabup Pringsewu menyampaikan hal tersebut saat meninjau industri pengolahan tahu di Pekon Gadingrejo, Kecamatan Gadingrejo, Jumat (6/10).
Fauzi juga meminta para pengusaha tahu agar berlaku jujur dalam menjalankan usahanya, agar apa yang didapatkan dari usaha tersebut menjadi berkah.
“Selain itu, mantan Kadispenda Pringsewu ini juga mengharapkan para pengusaha tahu dapat lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam membuat produk tahu, agar makanan olahan tradisional berbahan baku kedelai yang dikenal berprotein tinggi ini lebih disukai oleh semua kalangan,”Harafnya.
Salah satu pengusaha tahu di wilayah tersebut, Yulius mengaku senang atas dikunjunginya rumah sekaligus ‘pabrik’ pengolahan tahu miliknya oleh orang nomor dua di Pringsewu tersebut. Sekaligus berjanji apa yang telah disampaikan oleh wabup Pringsewu akan ia patuhi dan jalankan demi kelancaran dan kesinambungan usaha yang ia jalankan bersama sang istri.
Yulius mengaku usaha yang telah ia jalani lebih dari dua dasawarsa tersebut sebagai kelanjutan usaha yang dirintis orangtuanya sejak tahun 1960-an silam.
” Pemasaran tahu produksinya juga telah merambah bukan hanya di wilayah Pringsewu, namun juga ke daerah-daerah sekitarnya, seperti Pesawaran dan Bandar Lampung, dimana dalam setiap bulan ia bisa mengantongi laba bersih hingga 10 juta rupiah. Ia juga bersyukur usahanya tersebut dapat turut memberdayakan masyarakat di sekitarnya,”Ujarnya. Lansir muaramedia.com
Selain industri tahu milik Yulius, wakil bupati Pringsewu Fauzi didampingi sejumlah pejabat pemkab setempat di sela-sela melakukan kegiatan bersepeda rutin setiap Jumat pagi itu, juga meninjau tempat-tempat pembuatan tahu lainnya di Pekon Gadingrejo yang menjadi salah satu sentra industri tahu di Kabupaten Pringsewu, dimana di desa tersebut terdapat lebih dari 15 pengusaha tahu, yang merupakan binaan dinas perindustrian setempat.
