BeritaBerlian.com, Metro – Kecamatan Metro Timur mengadakan kegiatan senam anti narkoba di Lapangan Kampus, Minggu (8/9). Acara yang dihadiri langsung oleh Camat Metro Timur ini merupakan acara rutin setiap bulannya diminggu kedua. Acara ini juga dilakukan sebagai ajang untuk sosialisasi anti narkoba yang tengah di gencarkan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Lampung. Rosita, Camat Metro Timur mengatakan agar senam ini dapat menjadi rutinitas dan sebagai wadah sosialisasi anti narkoba bagi warga Metro dan juga pelajar. “Dilaksanakan acara ini demi menciptakan Metro yang bebas dari narkoba,” jelasnya.
Dalam pelaksanaannya senam ini menyelipkan yel-yel anti narkoba yang bisa dijadikan sebagai motivasi oleh pemuda agar menjauhi narkoba. “Kalau kegiatan ini memang setiap minggu kedua gitu loh cuman, event-event nya yang beda. Mungkin saat bulan Agustus kita kemas memperingati HUT RI, saat bulan Mei kita kemas memperingati HUT Kota Metro, kemudian bulan September kemaren HIMPAUDI gitu, acaranya fleksibel tetapi ada terus disetiap minggu keduanya,” tutur Rosita. Terdapat juga beragam door prize untuk menambah semangat para peserta senam. Acara ini juga menyediakan 500 kupon door prize untuk dibagikan keseluruh peserta.
Rosita juga menambahkan bahwa acara ini dianggap penting sebab Metro Timur merupakan kawasan pendidikan, apabila hari minggu kawasan pendidikan ini sepi, sementara ada tempat untuk berkumpul bagi pelajar dan masyarakat lalu mengapa tidak dimanfaatkan untuk silaturahmi. “Lapangan yang sebelumnya menjadi lahan parkir sehingga lapangan yang rusak kemudian dibenahi menjadi bagus kembali sehingga lapangan ini dapat digunakan bersama,” lugasnya.
Rosita menerangkan bahwa dana yang digunakan tidak berasal dari uang kas kecamatan melainkan pure dana sumbangan oleh pengusaha ataupun bank yang berada di Kota Metro. Peserta senam pun berasal dari berbagai kalangan masyarat mulai dari pelajar, lansia, dan masyarakat umum.
”Senam ini bagus ya buat kesehatan terus mengajak anak-anak untuk bisa bersosialisasi, saya bisa bertemu dengan anak SMA Negeri lain. Kalau saya di sekolah ngak ketemu sama anak-anak SMA lain,” ujar Rizky Mangku Luhur, salah satu peserta senam dari SMAN 1 Metro. Rizky juga berharap semoga acara ini bisa ditempatkan saat jam yang tepat, agar lebih banyak yang datang. Lansir kronika.id (Ocha,Eli)
“Harapan saya terhadap acara senam ini ya, betul-betul masuk pada masyarakat bahwa narkoba tidak baik untuk kita, untuk pelajar ,terutama untuk generasi mudanya. Jadi disini kita saling mengupayakan, saya sebagai Camat dan anggota Camat lainnya mengupayakan pencegahan adanya narkoba yang beredar di kota kita ini agar generasi muda kita tidak terjebak dengan adanya narkoba yang akan merusak bangsa tentunya,” ujar Rosita saat diwawancarai Kronika.
